Adorna Gourdsdeserved this ribbon, I would say. the same artist who created the octopus, below. This person can really paint. There were poison tree frogs, too, but the shine on the gourd was so high, the photo did not turn out well.

"I Did It My Way" First place, Bonnie Gibson. She did it again. These look JUST like Hopi Pottery...sort of. Maybe another native pottery. Anyway, I did a double take on them, and I would have loved to touch them!
I loved this octopus, capturing Santa, by Adorna Goords. Don't know why it did not place...though this category was quite full.
"Big" Bird...really wonderful! I am sorry that I cannot find this artist's card...she had fish and birds and fertility-style bodies, dressed in wild swimwear...whimsical and fun. If someone has it, please send me the link, and I will put it up!
