"I received a beautiful piece of art from Pamela Zimmerman. It is an ebony like wooden bowl with fluted edges and Pamela coiled yucca with sinew around the top. She left some of the yucca ends out which gives a beautiful effect. Pamela how did you do the fluting or did that just happen naturally because of the shape of the bowl? She also used some darling seeds, which I had never seen before. Pictures will show better what I am trying to describe. Thank you so much, Pamela."

"The fluting of the bowl helps, of course, but the coiling must be shaped...the coil is set on top of the preceeding coil to go upwards, and on the side of the preceeding coil to go outwards, and on the bottom of the preceeding coil to go downwards. It takes practice, but is lots of fun. The beads are Lablab seeds." Pamela Zimmerman to Sandra Grajeda Pine Needle Group Logo, created by Carol Antrim
